Corporate Finance and investment Banking
Yes, I am guilty of working at an investment bank. Sorry. It’s not all bad though. I’ve been very firm in avoiding those things which I feel very strongly about morally (aerospace and defence, tobacco), I get paid reasonably well, and I have somehow managed to not get dumped by my long-suffering girlfriend…
Anyway, I figured given that I have been doing this for a while, and that people are, as ever, very keen to get into banking, I should write something about what I think you ought to know when you get into this stuff (and indeed what it is you’ll be getting into).
