Finance interviews

The interviews below were from some time ago, when I started looking for a job in investment banking.

Please note that these are only to the best of my recollection - the actual interview questions/answers were not necessarily exactly what I have put here.

Many thanks to Deutsche Bank for giving a talk on interview technique that was actually useful, in which they recommended that you make notes on what was asked in an interview as soon as you get out (which I heeded, hence the content of this page).

Please also note that these pages will be riddled with spelling errors (and my html is very very poor). I can remember more of some interviews than others (some only 3-4 questions) and cannot always remember my answers :)

If (when) you spot errors/problems or if you think there is a better answer to a question, then give me a shout (my email address can be found on my CV, which is here).

Also, if you just want a hand with a CV, or want to submit questions/answers that you have been asked in finance interviews, again give me a shout at the email address on my CV (see above link).

If you are having trouble understanding why a question is being asked, again check out my CV (see above link) - the interviewer has probably pulled something from there.
